Celebrating International Women and Girls in Science Day with Cambridge Unlocked
At Parkwalk, we are proud to celebrate International Women and Girls in Science Day by taking meaningful action to support the next generation of female innovators. This year, we are delighted to partner with Form The Future‘s Cambridge Unlocked for the first time, sponsoring two internships to help open doors for women and girls.
What is Cambridge Unlocked?
Cambridge Unlocked is a week-long programme designed to connect talented 16–18-year-olds with some of the most innovative businesses in the Cambridge Cluster. Through this initiative, students gain early exposure to real-world STEM environments, providing invaluable hands-on experience that can ignite their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The programme’s first edition proved the transformative power of this approach. By placing students in cutting-edge companies, this programme is equipping them with the tools and inspiration to pursue exciting STEM careers.
Looking Ahead
We are thrilled to support this programme and play a role in empowering the next generation of STEM leaders. Looking to the future, we hope to expand this initiative to other regions across the UK, furthering our commitment to diversity, innovation, and progress.
