On Wednesday, 1st May 2024, we held our annual Parkwalk Portfolio Showcase at the Royal Society of Chemistry. The showcase highlighted some of the world-changing innovations we have invested in, which have all benefited from funding from the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
The event brought together 15 of our ground-breaking EIS investment companies from some of the UK’s top universities, including the Golden Triangle; Cambridge, Oxford and London. The evening was a great success, with over 160 attendees, including financial advisors, investors, colleagues, sector journalists and policymakers. We were also delighted to host Gareth Davies, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and MP for Grantham and Stamford. In his government role, Davies is responsible for growth, productivity, and investment, which are all pivotal for the UK economy.
