We have recently closed an investment in Oxford Endovascular for the Parkwalk Opportunities EIS Fund and the University of Oxford Innovation Fund IV.
Oxford Endovascular have developed Oxiflow, a novel, next generation ‘flow-diverter’ that diverts blood flow away from intracranial aneurysms at risk of rupture. The device is a metallic mesh tube, laser cut from Nitinol (a Nickel Titanium Alloy). Its unique patented design allows it to place more accurately and safely than existing products. Conforming to various blood vessel shapes, it reduces the risk of complications and enables the treatment of more patients.
